Position: A&P Technician

Location:

Requirements:

  • A&P License, 1-3 years general aviation experience

Description:

Excellent opportunity to work with a small FBO that is expanding. This position is for a full-time aircraft technician. Opportunity to advance within company likely for the right candidate. We are headquartered at the Winterset Airport, and looking to open second location soon.

  • Entry level aircraft technician position, experience with general aviation aircraft required. Turbine experience a plus.
  • Maintain aircraft IAW FAR’S, learn and use maintenance software for aircraft maintenance
  • Maintain aircraft IAW Winterset Aviation Policies
  • Become familiar with Winterset Aviation procedures
  • Be positive, work as a team, maintain excellent communication with others
  • Create logbook entries, and AD compliance reports
  • Travel (5% or less) for aircraft maintenance

Position: Director of Maintenance

Location: Winterset Airport, Winterset, IA (West Des Moines, IA)

Requirements:

  • Must have minimum 3 years experience with inspection authorization endorsement. Prefer 2 years working on small general aviation aircraft (12,500.00 or under).  Individual must exhibit professionalism and excellent people skills. Many opportunities to gain business experience and grow within a small aviation company.

Description of Position:

  • Maintain aircraft IAW FAR’S
  • Maintain aircraft IAW Winterset Aviation Policies
  • Keep shop organized
  • Manage A&P technicians’ as needed
  • Become familiar with Winterset Aviation procedures
  • Maintain Winterset Aviation parts department when needed
  • Effectively communicate with clients for scheduling
  • Be positive, work as a team, maintain excellent communication with others
  • Create logbook entries, and AD compliance reports
  • Travel (5% or less) for aircraft maintenance

Position: Flight Instructor/Commercial Pilot

Location: Winterset Airport, Winterset IA (West Des Moines, IA)

Requirements:

  • Individual must have CFI rating. Addition ratings a plus.

Description:

  • Winterset Aviation Services Inc. is currently seeking a Certified Flight Instructor to fulfill an open position at the Winterset Municipal Airport. Individual must exhibit excellent people skills, and customer service.  Duties include performing primary flight instruction, instrument flight instruction, aircraft ferrying, pilot services, and aerial imaging. Full Time or Part Time available.

Position: Line Service Technician

Location: Winterset Airport, Winterset, IA (West Des Moines, IA)

Requirements:

  • Must have mechanical background, position valid US drivers license, have great people skills

Description:

  • Tow aircraft in and out of hangars. Tow aircraft on ramp. Secure aircraft after landing
  • Perform maintenance to ground service equipment including aircraft tugs, company cars, and other equipment
  • Fuel aircraft, perform fuel inventory reports, order fuel
  • Marshal and park incoming aircraft, assist pilots after landing
  • Assist Director of Maintenance with part ordering, and inventory
  • Clean company aircraft
  • Clean lobby area, and shop area
